POSITION: Sous Chef
ROLE/REQUIREMENTS: The Mark Cross Inn is part of the multi award winning Whiting and Hammond family pub Group. After extensive refurbishment, we are looking to recruit professionals into our kitchen team. Our food is prepared on site using the best ingredients, local where possible using carefully sourced suppliers. We need a Sous Chef with excellent cooking skills, ambition and flair who wants to reach the top of their profession. You will be a great team player with good organisational skills and the ability to thrive is a very busy award winning pub where our reputation for consistently preparing cooking and presenting our dishes to the right quality is second to none . Your will assist and deputise for the Head chef in developing the best team, driving good gross profits, hygiene standards, stock rotation and ordering.
